Healthy Loddon Campaspe has partnered with Grow It Local to encourage and educate residents across the region about healthy eating, cooking and growing local food.
Grow It Local is your local grow community. A celebration of backyard, balcony, community and window-sill farmers across the country. They aim to make growing healthy food simple, social and fun.
Through HLC's partnership, Loddon Campaspe residents receive:
- Free access for all Loddon Campaspe region residents to the Grow It Local platform.
- The opportunity to put your patch on the map. You can tell people a little about what you're growing, plus find other growers near you and connect to share, knowledge, skills and more. Registering your patch is a free and easy process that takes less than 5 minutes.
- Access to free online workshops. Each month, Grow It Local offers free 'learn to grow' workshops to their community — connecting you with leading Australian growers and designed to help educate and inspire you to get growing healthy local food in your own patch or windowsill. - Access to the limited free seed service twice per year for new members. Plus a discounted rate for all existing members.
