Healthy Loddon Campaspe and Campaspe Shire Council teamed up to offer Healthy Sports Rewards to local sporting clubs.
Healthy Sports Rewards aims to offer an alternative to the unhealthy food and drink vouchers often presented to junior sporting club participants.
We're committed to supporting sporting clubs to be places that are active, healthy and socially connected. Healthy Sports Rewards vouchers are a great way to recognise junior players and offer healthier rewards that support health and wellbeing.
27 junior sporting clubs across Campaspe Shire participated in the Healthy Sports Rewards project in 2025, replacing traditional fast food vouchers with healthier, locally sourced rewards.
From pool passes and sports gear to cinema tickets and family experiences, each club received a tailored pack to celebrate junior players and support better health outcomes.
Thanks to the positive outcomes seen, the Healthy Sports Rewards project is now being backed by Campaspe Shire funding and set to continue - making positive change on and off the field.
