City of Gastronomy - Bendigo has been designated as a creative city of gastronomy – recognising all the exciting things happening across the city and region in food and beverages, culture and sustainability. The gastronomy region covers Bendigo and eight other local government areas, and has been recognised for its quality produce, agriculture, creative businesses and strong networks of cooperation.

Grow Cook Share Food Hub - Bendigo Foodshare - one of seven Future Healthy Food Hubs across Victoria. The Grow Cook Share Food Hub is co-designed by our community to ensure an inclusive, accessible and inspiring food system. They are working with local producers, young people, and our multicultural communities, to grow, cook, share and sell food and to showcase our amazing food culture.

Open Food Network - Open Food Network Australia works to transform the food system. They are a not-for-profit building the tools and resources needed to create a new food system that is fair, local, and transparent.
