Train the Trainer in Loddon Shire

The Train the Trainer program is supporting Loddon Shire residents to build the skills and confidence to lead or support community-based physical activity opportunities across the Shire.

We are now opening a second round of Expressions of Interest (EOIs) and encourage local community members, clubs, and aspiring fitness trainers or coaches to apply.

Participants will receive support to build confidence and put their new skills into practice in their own communities. Once qualified, participants might run sessions such as strength training, general fitness, post-natal physical activity classes, community sport coaching or other local activities that help people get moving close to home.

This opportunity is open to anyone aged over 18 who is living in Loddon, passionate about health and wellbeing, committed to completing the training, and keen to share their new skills by leading or supporting activities across the Loddon Shire.
