Encouraging residents, no matter their fitness level, to be active.
The Active Stadiums Pilot Program encourages healthy active living within the community, with a particular focus on new parents, seniors and people with disability.
The weekly activities aim to make better use of the stadiums during times when they're not busy, as well as engaging the community and encouraging them to get active.
Activities include:
ECHUCA STADIUM
Pickleball for Seniors
- Mondays, 1.30pm (15 April - 23 June)
- Facilitated by Pickleball Power, $5 entry
Strength and Balance for Seniors
- Tuesdays, 10.30am (16 April - 25 June)
- Facilitated by Echuca Regional Health, $5 entry
KYABRAM STADIUM
Sports for people living with a disability
- Wednesday, 11.30am (1, 15 and 29 May)
- Facilitated by Kyabram District Health Service, free entry
