Tour of Bear and Twigg - Greg and Jo Bear's farm
At Bear and Twigg, Jo Bear will guide you on a tour of the farm, sharing insights into their approach to regenerative agriculture, holistic land management, and wetland conservation.
The Bears manage a flock of approximately 5,000 Merino ewes and were pioneers in carbon capital accounting as participants in the first Agriculture Stewardship Carbon + Biodiversity Pilot. In addition to their farming operations, they also host a Hipcamp site for visitors to experience their farm and natural surroundings.
This session will be facilitated by Will Sanson from Loddon Plains Landcare Network.
